About The Stogie Co.
As my recorder captures the conversation between us, Eugene begins to describe his cigars like a woman, fiery, taught skinned, tasteful, and elegant. He pulls out examples of his line – holds it lovingly with admiration and pride, and I believe the feeling is mutual, because the cigar community and industry is showing a lot of love in return. -Copa Style
The Stogie Co. (AKA The Stogie Company) became the vision of Eugene Mattison after being exposed to the cigar business and lifestyle. An entrepreneur with a successful printing company, Eugene Mattison ventured into the cigar world with a lifestyle and culture focus, which has allowed The Stogie Co. to succeed through its own unique way.
The Stogie Co. boutique line is currently being produced at the THECA Cigar Factory (Tabacalera Hernandez Cantillo) in Esteli, Nicaragua, which is one of the few remaining factories making cigars with traditional Cuban triple caps. Through a personal and direct understanding, Eugene and THECA have ventured into creating unique blends that are easily accessible to the general public and cigar lovers alike. Recently, THECA began producing box pressed Connecticut and Maduros for the new Stogie Co. line.
As one of the most sought after luxury mobile cigar lounges in America, The Stogie Co. by Eugene Mattison is expanding by hiring new employees, developing a training program, and franchising, which will see mobile lounges throughout the United States exclusively carrying the Stogie Co.’s line of cigars, couture clothing, and accessories to fit the new cigar culture.
